Editors Opinion

  • The Brooks Ghost 6 is an exceptionally cushioned neutral shoe, and offers out of the box comfort.  It remains relatively stable, and due to the full ground contact, has become smoother than ever before.
  • 8.5/10
  • RRP £105

The Brooks Ghost 6 is an exceptionally cushioned shoe, and is comfortable right out of the box.  It offers wearers the chance to experience superb cushionig, and flexibility.  The updates ave resulted in a more flexible, lighter, and smoother ride than ever before

Key Technologies:

  • BioMoGo midsole foam
  • DNA in the heel and forefoot for excellent shock absorption
  • Full Ground Contact
  • Extended caterpillar crash pad for a smoother transition

The updates on this shoe offer a smoother ride than ever before.  It uses an extended caterpillar crashpad to soften any impact upon landing, and creates a smooth roll through onto the forefoot.  The flex grooves running down the forefoot then provide excellent flexion throughout the gait cycle.  Brooks do use fairly pronounced insoles, so this is something to get used to if you've not had them before, but you can easily solve this by getting another pair of insoles.  I give them an 8.5 out of 10
