Editors Opinion

  • The Puma Faas 500 TR is anexcellent hybrid shoe.  It offers excellent grip on most terrains, but is durable enough to wear on a multitude of terrains.  This makes it the ideal shoe to run to the trail in, and not have to worry about 2 pairs of shoes.
  • 7.5/10
  • RRP £80

The Puma Faas 500 TR is Puma's most technically advanced trail shoe. It combines cushioning, flexibility, grip and durability to give a soft yet natural ride on most surfaces.

Key Technologies:

  • Faas Foam for excellent responsive cushioning

Puma are relatively unknown in the running world, and since their re-emergence with their Faas foam, have starte to build again.  The first set of shoes were a little confused, and were trying to appeal to a more casual wearer, however, with the new set they are a lot more focussed on the running side of things, and are therefore much much better.  I give this shoe an 8 out of 10, and look forward to seeing what the future brings.
